Oak Park Arms presents its popular series, “You Be the Critic” at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at the Oak Park Arms, 408 S. Oak Park Ave.
Hosted by radio announcer Dan Kane, February’s “You Be the Critic” features the movie of the Camelot legend, “King Arthur.” Filmed in 2004, the film is directed by Antoine Fuqua. It stars Clive Owen as the title character, Ioan Gruffudd as Lancelot, and Keira Knightley as Guinevere.
The producers of the film claim to present a historically accurate version of the Arthurian legends, supposedly inspired by new archaeological findings. The accuracy of these claims is subject to debate, but the film is unusual in representing Arthur as a Roman officer rather than
