Born to be a barber, Emil Messina has been cutting hair at the Oak Park Arms since 1986.  Before coming to the Arms, Emil cut hair at the Conrad Hilton at the Palmer House for over 34 years. He has cut the locks of many celebrities including Liberace and Jack Benny. Emil gives customers what they want, which is why he has customers from all over. His simple philosophy, just give good haircuts, is what keeps his customers coming. Not to mention his location, reliability and his music.
