Seniors from the community are invited to a 1950s music theme dance titled, “Rock Around the Jukebox” from 5 – 8 p.m. on Friday, June 13, at the Oak Park Arms. 5 – 6 p.m. Cocktails and hors devours. 6 – 8 p.m. Music and dancing with Swing Set. RSVP required

We program hundreds of events and activities for seniors each month. Residents experience professional musicians, local elected officials, award-winning authors, local artists, and much more – all brought conveniently to The Oak Park Arms.
Dominican graduate students create senior-centered initiatives for social connection and emotional well-being at Oak Park Arms
Four graduate students from Dominican University’s School of Social Work created a series of senior-centered initiatives. Developed as part of a Community Practice course, the students created multiple programs to promote social connection, emotional well-being, and interaction.

Consumer Fraud Prevention Tips for Seniors – May 23
Fraud is big business in America, taking in about $100 billion a year. The Cook County State’s Attorney’s office will present a program titled, “Consumer Fraud Prevention Tips for Seniors,” at 2 p.m. Friday, May 23. After the presentation, participants should be able to identify common red flags that accompany scams. The program is free and open to the public.
