Harmony for Hearts, a student-led musical outreach group, performed at the Oak Park Arms on September 27. The organization provides inspiring classical and jazz performances to seniors. Four graduate students from Dominican University’s School of Social Work created a series of senior-centered initiatives. Developed as part of a Community Practice course, the students created multiple programs to promote social connection, emotional well-being, and interaction.

The Cook County State’s Attorney’s office will present a program titled, “Consumer Fraud Prevention Tips for Seniors,” at 2 p.m. Friday, May 23.
