Oak Park Arms to host eclectic performance by Louie Kertgen – July 25

The Oak Park Arms Senior Living is hosting an evening of diverse music featuring Louie Kertgen at 5 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025, in the ballroom of the Oak Park Arms, 408 S. Oak Park Avenue, Oak Park. This event is free and open to the public, with complimentary snacks provided.

Louie Kertgen is a true renaissance man, balancing roles as a singer, songwriter, drummer, middle school teacher, chef, dog owner, part-time bartender, and guitarist. His musical range is equally broad, spanning genres from folk and country to punk and psychedelic. Kertgen is also well-known as the front-man and guitarist for the Chicago band Coyote Fire.

Oak Park Arms Senior Living is a rental retirement community that provides senior housing in the form of independent living.
