‘Elvis’ sings the hits at Oak Park Arms – Friday, July 14

Due to expected weather, we are moving this event inside to the Oak Park Arms’ historic ballroom.

“Chicago” Ed Parzygnat as Elvis

“Chicago” Ed Parzygnat will present a tribute concert as Elvis Presley from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 14, at a free outdoor concert at the Oak Park Arms Senior Living, 408 S. Oak Park Ave. The public is warmly welcome to attend the outdoor concert.

“We’re delighted to welcome Chicago Ed back to the Oak Park Arms,” said Renee Steingard, LPN, director of leasing and resident engagement. “He has entertained us several times before, and he’s always a hit with our residents, families, and staff.”

Chicago Ed has been performing his tribute to Elvis for 23 years. Covering the 1950s, ‘60s, and ‘70s, his music gets his audiences “All Shook Up.” Other Elvis hits include “Blue Suede Shoes,” “You Ain’t Nothin’ but a Hound Dog,” “Love Me Tender,” “Return to Sender,” and “Don’t be Cruel.”

He performs costumed in reproductions of the King’s jumpsuits. He considers singing the iconic songs a great privilege.
